Cowgirls Finish Fifth At Windy City Collegiate

Oklahoma State's women's golf team carded a 304 during the third round of play at the Windy City Collegiate Championship on Tuesday to finish in fifth place at Westmoreland Country Club.


The Cowgirls finished with a 54-hole total of 893, 29-over par, at the par-72, 6,291-yard layout to come in two shots behind Arizona. Southern California won the event, posting a 12-over total of 876 to come in three shots clear of Northwestern.

USC also produced the individual medalist in Annie Park, who carded a closing 69 for a 5-under 211 total.

OSU's Maddie McCrary tallied her second consecutive top-10 finish. After tying for fifthplace at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate in her last start, the freshman tied for eighth place with a 218 total after carding a closing 72.

Classmate Kenzie Neisen posted a 74 during her third round to finish at 222 and tied for 19th place.

Sophomore Linnea Johansson tied for 23rd place at 224 after posting a 77, while sophomore Isabella Deilert's 81 tied her for 41st place at 229.

Freshman Alexis Sadeghy finished at 252 after signing for an 84 to finish alone in 79th place.

The Cowgirls will close out itheir fall slate later this month when they begin play at the LandfallTradition.
