No School? No Problem! - The Joplin YMCA is here to assist

Updated:

Joplin, MO - Attention working parents:  looking for a fun, safe and educational place for your child to spend school holidays and snow days? Don't take the day off; we've got you covered w/ our No-School-Days childcare program!

The Joplin Family YMCA offers two types of No-School-Days care: Activity Days and Snow Days. In Joplin, Activity Days are available on the following school holidays: the Wednesday of Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Break (not including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day) and Spring Break. At our  Heritage Youth Development Center in Webb City, Activity Days include Webb City School District's in-service days as well as school holidays.

Snow Days are held exclusively at our Heritage Youth Development Center on days when Webb City schools are closed due to inclement weather. Students from Joplin, Carl Junction and other surrounding districts are welcome to enjoy Snow Days and Activity Days at Heritage.

The Y makes No-School-Days childcare available from 7AM-6PM. The cost is $25 per child/per day, w/ a discount available for children who are enrolled in a YMCA School Plus program.

Visit the Youth Development section of our website, www.joplinfamilyy.org, or contact 781-9622 (Joplin) or 673-2677 (Webb City) for more information.
