CARTHAGE, MISSOURI -

I would like to nominate the sisters of Alpha Delta Kappa (ADK) sorority for recognition by the district. This group had a community service project that enhanced the outside of the Bright Futures building. They weeded the flower gardens and planted mums in preparation for the Maple Leaf celebrations.

Gary Danielson, Bright Futures Coordinator/ Pleasant Valley Elementary School Principal

On Friday, October 17, 2014, Calvin, Ruth, and Michael Parker were a blessing to my students and myself. On the way to bowling Special Olympics, my van sprung a leak in a radiator hose. As I pulled into the parking lot with steam coming from my hood, the Parker family came over to assist. Mr. and Mrs. Parker immediately diagnosed the problem and told me they would fix it for me! I went in and cheered for my students asplanned.

The Parkers went to not just 1 or 2, BUT 3 auto part stores to find my size radiator hose in stock! They fixed my problem without any concerns for their own personal time. Their kindness was out of the ordinary and I would love for them to be recognized!

Annette Jones, High School Special Education Teacher
