JB's Benefit Concert Helps Cancer Patient

Updated:
JOPLIN, MISSOURI - JB's Downtown Joplin is raising money to help one man fight cancer.

A concert, raffle, and auction were held at JB's to help Rob Edman; a stage-4 lymphoma patient.

All money raised today will go to assisting Edman's family with medical bills.

The event came together fairly quickly. JB's, along with Edman's children, decided just a month ago to put on today's benefit.

"You know, I've grown up here my entire life," JB's manager Melynn Cline said. "So I just went to all the businesses that I frequent. And they're all really willing to donate, and work with me, and help do this. So it's actually been pretty easy."

Anyone wishing to donate is encouraged to call or email JB's.
