Alex Bruey of College Heights Christian School signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Dodge City Community College, Dodge City, Kansas.

Alex is a three year varsity outside hitter.  Miss Bruey has led the team in kills during her senior year with 261 and also was the ace leader with 52 aces.  Alex was First Team All-Conference, and First Team All-District her senior year.  Alex was also honored on the All-Tournament Team in the Lamar Tournament.

The team finished as a runner up in Class 2, District 12 and runner up in the Spring River Valley Conference with a 24–8–4 record this year.

Coach Mary Colin commented, “Alex is a strong outside hitter.  She is able to run the ball from anywhere along the net - at any speed.  Her power is exciting, and fueled our season on the offensive attack.  Alex also contributed on the line with an aggressive jump float serve.”

She is the daughter of Clay and Toni Williams of Joplin.  Alex plans to major in Athletic Training.
