Three males linked to several property crimes

On 12-15-2014 at 09:13 pm the Arma Police Department began a pursuit that started after a report of two men trying to break into a vehicle. The pursuit began after the Arma officer attempted to stop the suspects' truck after it had left the scene. The pursuit was ended after the truck entered Missouri.

Deputies from the Crawford County Sheriff's Office located the truck a few minutes later coming back into Kansas at 600 Avenue and 270th Street.

Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle and again, the suspects attempted to flee. Another pursuit began and entered into Missouri where deputies from the Barton County Sheriff's Office and troopers from Missouri Highway Patrol became involved in the pursuit. The pursuit ended south of Mindenmines, MO when the driver of the vehicle crashed at a T-intersection. The Driver, 20 of Pittsburg along with his passenger #1, 19 of Mulberry and passenger #2, 18 of Pittsburg were taken into custody by Missouri authorities and transported to the Barton County Sheriff's Office.

Upon further investigation, the three suspects have been linked to several other property crimes in Crawford County. Formal charges have not yet been filed. Crawford County Sheriff's Office charges include Fleeing an Eluding, Obstruction and other traffic-related offenses. They face further charges from Arma Police, Barton County, Missouri Sheriff and Missouri Highway Patrol. All subjects remain in the Barton County Jail in Lamar, Missouri. The result of other investigations could bring further charges against the three males.

This incident, as well as others that may have involved these individuals, remain under investigation.
