Press Release PSU:

Pittsburg State University senior safety Keeston Terry will compete in the 2015 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

The Blue Springs, Mo., native will be one of the talented draft-eligible seniors competing in the all-star game on Saturday, Jan. 17, at StubHub Center on the campus of California State University Dominguez Hills in Carson, Calif. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. (EST), and the game will be televised live on ESPN2. ESPNU will also air live broadcasts from practices on Wednesday, Jan. 14 and Thursday, Jan. 15.

Terry (6-3, 203) earned second team NCAA Division II Super Region Three honors as a senior for the Gorillas in 2014, helping Pitt State to an 11-2 record, an MIAA co-championship and a berth in the Division II national playoffs. He finished second on the team with 85 tackles, including eight for a loss. Terry added two sacks and an interception while earning first-team All-MIAA honors. He finished his career with the Gorillas as a three-time All-MIAA performer, making 187 tackles, four PBUs and four interceptions. Terry spent two years at the University of Kansas (2010-11) before transferring to Pitt State. He started 10 games for the Jayhawks as a redshirt freshman in 2011.

For one week preceding the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, participants will receive an in-depth introduction to the union – the primary resource for information on the business of football and how to succeed in the NFL and in post-football careers. Pro-football players and coaching legends will work with the game's future stars, giving them first-hand insight on what it takes to win on and off of the field. Mike Holmgren and Mike Martz will serve as the head coaches for the American and National Teams.
