Updated January 7, 2015 - Jeremy Haun, local comic book artist (Constantine, Batwoman, Captain America), is about to launch a new Kickstarter campaign after the tremendous success of his Bad Karma Kickstarter in 2013.

DINO DAY began nearly a year ago. Haun drew a dinosaur at the request of his son Owen. This sparked an ongoing series of weekly drawings of dinosaurs. Every Wednesday, Haun has been drawing dinosaurs and sharing them on his blog at jeremyhaun.com.

Now for the first time, he will be collecting all of his pieces for a new art book, but he needs your help.

Kickstarter is a website that launched in 2009 as a form of crowd funding for individual and team projects. Users can search and browse thousands of projects and pledge a monetary amount in exchange for different reward tiers as well as the satisfaction of knowing they helped make something a reality. Many successful recent products have come about this way, such as Pebble, Ouya, and Haun and his team's own Bad Karma graphic novel.

"Dino Day gave me opportunity to play, to share art and dinosaurs with my kids", Haun discusses in the Kickstarter video. Not only does the project contain his own original work but it will also contain art done by Haun's children, Ethan and Owen, in addition to collaborations between both parties.

We are excited about this 72 page dinosaur art book, but we need you! With your help, you will not only be bringing this wonderful collection of art to dinosaur lovers everywhere, but you will also be able to receive incredible rewards such as tshirts, original art pieces, the book itself, and even the chance to help decide what the final entry in Dino Day year one will be.

The DINO DAY KICKSTARTER will begin Wednesday, January 7th and run through February 5th. Feel free to check out the preview here to learn more:
