Uncork Kansas Proposes Supermarkets Sell Hard Liquor

Updated:
As Kansas lawmakers head back to work, a coalition of supermarket and convenience store chains wants them to change legislation to expand alcohol sales.

The group, Uncork Kansas has a new proposal it wants passed that would allow grocers and other stores to sell hard liquor.  Currently they can only sell drinks with 3.2 percent alcohol content.

The proposal will include a provision to cap the number of liquor licenses.
