Pittsburg State University head football coach Tim Beck has announced that 31 high school seniors have signed letters of intent to join the Gorillas for the 2015 football season.



Additionally, one transfer has signed a letter of intent and will join the Pitt State football team at the start of the Fall 2015 semester.


Here's a complete breakdown of Pittsburg State's 2015 recruiting class:

5326CARTER ANCHORS, 6-1, 190, FR, LB
Hometown: Kansas City, Mo.
High School: Park Hill South
H.S. Coach: Josh Hood
Honors/Stats:  A Missouri Class 5A All-State performer as a senior at Park Hill South High School in 2014… made 124 tackles with 25 TFLs, three forced fumbles and one interception for the Trojans… a two-time All-Conference selection (2013-14), including Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2014… also an All-Simone Team selection at linebacker.
Personal:  Born February 27, 1997… son of Casey and Robin Anchors.

Hometown: Kansas City, Mo.
High School: Rockhurst
H.S. Coach: Tony Severino
Honors/Stats: An All-District performer as a senior at Rockhurst High School in 2014… also named to the All-Simone Team… a two-year starter for the Hawklets.
Personal:  Born July 15, 1997… son of William Bazzle III and Markita Phillips.

Honors/Stats: A two-time All-League selection at Shawnee Mission South High School (2013-14)… made 58 tackles with two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble as a senior for the Raiders… also a Kansas Class 6A state medalist in the discus in track & field.

Honors/Stats:  An All-Conference performer as a senior at Wentzville Holt High School in 2014… a two-year starter for the Indians… anchored an offensive line that helped WHHS average 275 passing yard per game his senior season.

Honors/Stats:  A two-time Kansas Class 3A All-State performer at St. Mary's-Colgan High School (2013-14)… made 109 tackles with 4.0 quarterback sacks, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries as a senior for the Panthers… also a two-time All-CNC League selection.

Honors/Stats:  A two-time Nebraska Class C2 All-State performer at Tekamah-Herman High School (2013-14)… a three-time All-District selection (2012-14)… caught 130 career passes for 2,207 yards (17.0 ypc) and 22 touchdowns.
Personal:  Born March 19, 1997… son of Dave and Sharon Cameron.

Honors/Stats:  A three-time Kansas Class 3A All-State performer at Humboldt High School (2012-14)… also a three-time All-Tri-Valley League selection (2012-14)… recorded 133 tackles as a senior for the Cubs… finished his prep career with 470 tackles.
Personal:  Born March 28, 1997… son of Jay and Kristin Carpenter.

Honors/Stats: An Oklahoma Class 5A All-State performer as a senior at Lawton MacArthur High School in 2014… made 106 tackles with 11.5 quarterback sacks… helped the Highlanders to a 13-1 record and the Class 5A state title.
Personal:  Born February 18, 1996… son of Clifford Cherry and Suzanne Cherry.

High School: Lee's Summit West

Honors/Stats: A two-time Missouri Class 6A All-State performer at Lee's Summit West High School (2013-14)… caught 45 passes for 1,049 yards (23.3 ypc) and nine touchdowns and carried the ball 114 times for 754 yards (6.6 ypc) and 19 scores… helped the Titans to a 13-1 record and the Class 6A state title as a junior in 2013.
