HTS hires new President

JOPLIN, MISSOURI -

Heartland Technology Solutions (HTS), a leading IT Services Provider in the Midwest, is pleased to announce the addition of Robert Gentzler as President. Gentzler brings three decades of IT industry experience to HTS and was most recently an independent consultant working with businesses in the Midwest on strategic planning, IT staffing, and sales strategy.

Prior to joining HTS, Gentzler served as the Senior State Executive for IBM in Nebraska and held sales and sales management positions in hardware, software, and services over his 24 years with IBM. Bob has also served as President of MSI Systems Integrators in Omaha, Nebraska, a regional IT reseller, systems integration, and consulting firm.

Mr. Gentzler said, “It is a real privilege to join the leadership team of HTS which has such a rich 30-year history, exceptional character, and deep roots in the heartland. HTS provides unmatched support and technology solutions for small and medium-sized businesses and schools. We are well positioned to continue to grow in both traditional managed services and leading edge cloud solutions”.

Connie Arentson, Vice President of Service and Operations at HTS, said, “I am very excited Bob Gentzler is joining the HTS team. He has a vast amount of knowledge and I am looking forward to working with him to help grow HTS and continue offering the best IT services and solutions in the Midwest.”

Bob will be located in the Harlan, Iowa office, and will oversee the business process and growth for all seven regional HTS locations.
