Pittsburg Home Invasion Leads to Arrest

PITTSBURG, KANSAS - On Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 9:17 pm, officers responded to a 100 block W. Jefferson Street residence for the report of a residential break-in and disturbance. Upon arrival, officers discovered that four subjects; 33 year old Robert Busauri, 39 year old Amy Busauri, 31 year old Adrienne Castillo, and 34 year old Patrick Murrah; all residents of Pittsburg, forced their way into the home looking for a 24 year old male.

While inside the residence, the four subjects threatened and physically assaulted four adult occupants of the home, while also using a beer bottle and a small wooden bat on the 24 year old male. Police were called and the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.

The four suspects were located a short time later at a residence in the 2000 block of JFK Drive, Pittsburg. The investigation led to all four suspects being arrested and transported to the Crawford County jail and have been charged with the following

Amy Basauri: Aggravated Burglary, Aggravated Battery, Criminal Threat, Criminal Damage to property ($50K Cash Bond or surety)

Robert Basauri: Aggravated Burglary, Aggravated Intimidation of a Victim, Aggravated Battery, Criminal Threat and criminal damage to property ($75K Cash Bond or surety)

Adrienne Castillo: Aggravated Burglary, Aggravated Battery and Criminal Damage to property ($50K Cash Bond or surety)

Patrick Murrah: Aggravated Burglary, Aggravated Battery and criminal damage to property. ($50K Cash Bond or surety)

One of the victims, 24 year old Raymond D. Weaver fled the scene prior to the officers' arrival, but later returned to the residence. He was found to have injuries, but refused medical treatment. He was discovered to have a Crawford County arrest warrant and was subsequently transported to jail.
