The Missouri Southern Women's Basketball team will put their State Farm Trophy Series point on the line Saturday afternoon in Pittsburg, Kan. as they take on 7th ranked Pittsburg State.

Series Record:  PSU leads, 44-40
Series History:  This is the 85th meeting between the State Farm Trophy Series rivals, the most played series in Southern history. Pitt State holds a 44-40 advantage, winning the last six out of seven contests.Pitt State holds a 25-16 advantage inside John Lance Arena, while Southern leads 23-18 in Joplin and the series is tied 1-1 on neutral courts. The Lions defeated PSU 82-67 at Washburn on March 12, 1993 in the NCAA South Central Regional, while Pitt State defeated the Lions 61-57 in OT in the first round of the MIAA Post-Season Tournament in Kansas City on March 4, 2011.Southern's longest winning streak was eight games from December 12, 1974 thru February 24, 1978.Pitt State's longest winning streak was at 10 from January 28, 1998 thru February 13, 2002.
