PRESS RELEASE MSSU:

Missouri Southern picked up a pair of All-American honors in the final day of the 2015 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships held at the Birmingham CrossPlex today.

Both Jeff Fraley and Darion Boure earned their fourth career All-Americannods this afternoon.

Fraley picked up his first All-American honor of the day when he placed third in the 60m dash in one of the closest races in recent memory. He ran a 6.73, but the winner posted a 6.72, while less than .01 separated first from fifth place in the race.

All-American nod number two of the day came in the 200m for Fraley as he placed fifth in the event. He completed the race in a time of 21.54, just .03 off of his school record he set at the 2015 MIAA Indoor Championships. That time was just a half a second off of the national championship pace.

Boure earned his All-American honors in the triple jump with a third place finish, while breaking his own school record in the event, leaping to a distance of 50-07.50. That mark was three and a half inches behind the national championship mark.

In other action, Morgan Hold finished in 13th place in the pole vault with a height of 15-09.

The Lions, as a team, earned 16 points and placed 16th overall, the top program in the MIAA.

Fraley picks up his fourth career All-American honor, adding to his previous honors set both in his freshman campaign in the indoor and outdoor 200m.

Boure adds to his All-American total with his fourth overall. He earned All-American status as a freshman in the outdoor triple jump, while earning that status in both indoor and outdoor as a junior, as well.
