Parsons PD make KDOC warrant arrest

Updated:
PARSONS, KANSAS -

On March 27, 2015 at 1530 hours, Parsons Police saw Ashton Hucke (23) at 3124 Main, Harper's Automotive. Hucke had an active warrant with the Kansas Department of Corrections.

An officer attempted to make contact, at which time an unknown female and child quickly got out of the vehicle driven by Hucke. Hucke fled the scene in the vehicle he was driving and while doing so crashed into an unoccupied vehicle in the Harper's parking lot. The driver fled in the vehicle and the officer pursued. Other back up officers assisted by coordinating their locations. While the driver tried to flee, he crashed rendering his vehicle inoperable.

The driver then fled on foot. After a short foot pursuit, officers were able to take Hucke (23) into custody for the KDOC warrant. The Parsons Police Department is conducting a thorough investigation. The Police Department would appreciate any information leading to the identity of the unknown female and her child, as the police department would like to verify their safety and well-being. Please contact the Parsons Police Department at 421-7060 or Email your tips to tips@parsonspd.com or call our tip line at 620-421-7057.
