Man charged in death of Fort Scott infant

On April 26, 2015 at 2:43 PM, officers with the Fort Scott Police Department along with members of the Fort Scott Fire Department and Mercy EMS, responded to the 300 Block South Broadway for an accident involving a six month old boy. The boy, Aiden J. Osborn, had reportedly fallen off of a sofa inside the residence accoriding to police and was transported to Mercy Hospital and later flown to Children's Mercy in Kansas City.

Aiden died on April 28, 2015 at 10:39 PM at Children's Mercy Hospital. 

Anthony M. Anderson, 21 years old and from Fort Scott, is facing a charge of 1st Degree Murder for the death of Osborn.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
