Joplin Man Dies In Car Crash

JOPLIN, MISSOURI -

A 26 year old man was killed in a one vehicle crash south of Joplin. The accident occurred at 8 PM last night. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol Victor Furguson was driving a 2002 Mazda Miata southbound on State Line Road, 2 miles south of Joplin. The car began skidding off the road, into a ditch, striking a tree and overturning the car. The passenger Camron Welch was pronounced dead at the scene. Welch was taken to Parker Mortuary in Joplin.
