MIAA Announces Academic Honors for Softball

Nine Pittsburg state softball players have earned MIAA Academic Honors  for the 2014-15 school year, the league announced Monday (May 19). Nine players earned a spot on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll, and of those nine, one earned MIAA Scholar Athlete honors.


Seniors Avery Beard, Devon McCreath, Cheslyn Mitchell and McKenzie Rynard, juniors Jordan Bradshaw, Catie Cummins, and Alex Perex and sophomores Darion Jasoand Nicole Nease were all named to the Academic Honor Roll after earning at least a 3.00 GPA. Rynard was named an MIAA Scholar-Athlete after earning a GPA over 3.5 and earning All-MIAA honors. 

Freshman awards and the awards for Academic Exellence (those with a 4.00 GPA) will be announced in June.
