Missouri Southern senior thrower
Nicklas Polizzi had an All-America and school record performance in the second day of the 2015 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Grand Valley State University.

Polizzi had the top throw in his flight as he launched a distance of 182-6 in his third attempt of the afternoon. That mark was good enough for fourth place and an All-America honor.

The throw bested the previous school record of 182-2 by four inches, previously held by Dustin Green set in the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Championships.

In other action, Darion Boure finished 12th in the triple jump with a distance of 49-1.5, while Jeff Fraley just barely missed out on the finals of the 200m. Fraley ran a time of 21.35 and missed out on qualifying by a margin of .002.

Fraley will be in action in two events tomorrow as he will run in the finals of the 100m, as well as the 4x100m relay. He, along with Anthony Price, Erron Holley and Jazz Allen will run in that event. The 100m will run at 3:35 pm ET, while the 400m relay will be at 2:10 pm ET.

Morgan Hold will be in action in the pole vault which will kick off at 12:30 pm ET, while Derek Webb will be in action in the Javelin. That event will kick off at 2:15 pm ET.
