Blasters Return Home for 5 Game Home Stand

PRESS RELEASE JOPLIN BLASTERS:


The Joplin Blasters will return to Joe Becker Stadium beginning Friday, May 29
th to open a 5 game home stand. They are set to face the Winnipeg Goldeyes for 3 games and the Amarillo Thunderheads for 2 games.

Friday, May 29th, will see the second installment of “Fireworks Friday” which has already become a can't miss spectacle in the Four States Community. Saturday's game will see the first 1,000 fans receive a free souvenir squishy ball as they pass through the gates. Sunday's contest will be the first edition of Sunday Family Fun Day where kids will be allowed to run the bases and players will sign autographs after the game.

The Blasters are returning home after sweeping the Fargo Moorhead Redhawks, and are sporting a wild card leading 4-2 record.

Tickets are still available to all games and fans are encouraged to visit www.joplinblasters.com to purchase. They can also call (417) 622-4838 for more information and to buy over the phone. Box office hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.

On June 6th, 2018, an officer with the Aurora Marionville Police Department was given a case on child endangerment involving 34-year-old Amanda Morton of Mount Vernon and four juveniles.
