"Newsmakers" - United Way Focus of Program

JOPLIN, MISSOURI -

The upcoming edition of the “Newsmakers” interview program on KGCS-TV takes a look at the United Way of Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas.  The program features the United Way Executive Director, Duane Dreiling.  He discusses the various programs supported by the organization.  In addition, the program features an on-location report from two KGCS students.  Kristen Hanna and Deidra Morris report on the annual Day of Action, held in June. 

The program airs the following times next week on KGCS-TV:
*  Sunday, July 26 – 5:30 p.m.

*  Monday, July 27 – 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

*  Tuesday, July 28 – 5:30 p.m.

*  Wednesday, July 29 – 5:30 p.m.

*  Thursday, July 30 – 5:30 p.m.

The program will air on KOAM-TV at 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1.

In addition to the broadcasts, the program is also posted on the KGCS YouTube site, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fDNCMl-cAE

“Newsmakers” is produced by KGCS-TV, a station operated as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University. Broadcast program may be seen throughout the region, over the air on digital channel 22 on a regional cable television systems.
