NEO Football Makes Staff Changes

MIAMI — Three new members have been added to the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Golden Norseman football coaching staff for the 2015 season., according to director of football operations Chad Davis.
Coming off a 5-6 season in his initial campaign, second-year head coach Ryan Held has had four assistant coaches move on to other positions.
Former linebackers and strength coach Zack Crissup has become defensive coordinator at Fairmont (West Virginia) State University, special teams coach Colby Ellis has joined the staff at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, wide receivers coach Logan Cawyer has become an assistant for Miami Wardog head coach James Cheatham and tight end coach Nate Haremza returned to graduate school full time.
Serving as a volunteer defensive assistant coach is former Golden Norse free safety Willie Ng.
A graduate of Picher High School in 1984, Ng helped guide NEO to back-to-back appearances in the Tulsa Union Mid-America post-season bowl.
Following graduation from NEO, Ng played two seasons at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro,
Ng served as head football coach at Afton High School from 1991-93, Picher High School from 1994-2003 and as assistant or head coach at Commerce High School from 2004 until 2012. He has been high school principal in Seneca, Missouri, for the last three years.
"Willie was my high school coach at Pitcher and we've talked the last couple of years about his desire to get back into coaching," Davis said. "When an opportunity came available on our staff, he talked to coach Held and offered his time and expertise."
Dominique Ellis is in his first year as the NEO wide receivers coach. Ellis served last season as an offensive quality control coach and assistant wide receivers coach under Mike Grant at the University of North Texas in Denton.
The 2014 wide receivers at North Texas combined for 143 receptions for 1,694 yards and 3 touchdowns. The group also included honorable mention all Conference USA wide receiver Carlos Harris.
Ellis graduated from West Torrance High School in 2004 and lettered in football and track. He was a Daily Breeze All Ocean league player.
Ellis attended Los Angeles Harbor College in Wilmington, California, from 2004-2006. He then walked on at University of North Texas for the 2007 season. Ellis then transferred and finished his collegiate career at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Ellis received his bachelor's degree in 2010 from Midwestern State University in sociology, and his master's degree in recreation, event & sport management from the University of North Texas in 2014. 
Joining the Golden Norse staff as defensive ends coach is the former Alcorn State University assistant Lane Powell.
During the past two seasons, Powell served as tight ends and assistant recruiting coordinator for Alcorn State in Lorman, Mississippi.
Powell was a regional scout from 2004 to 2014 for the Edmonton Eskimo Football Club of the Canadian Football League where he helped conduct free agent tryout camps.
From 2011-13, Powell was the defensive coordinator at the private NAIA Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, Florida.
A native of Clinton, Mississippi, Powell began his coaching career in 2010 as a linebackers coach with the Greyhounds of Fort Scott (Kansas) Community College
