Branco ranked among Midwest Top Contractors

Updated:
NEOSHO, MISSOURI -

Branco was recently ranked among the Midwest Top Contractors in ENR Magazine.  In the July 20th edition of the ENR publication, the top 100 Contractors in the Midwest were listed by annual revenue.  Branco was ranked 61st on the list.

"We're thrilled to make this prestigious list for 2014.  It’s great to see the commitment of Branco employees to building high-quality facilities," said Brennan Robinson, Marketing Coordinator. "Branco's core values of hard work and dedication continue to shine, and have brought us through one of the toughest seasons the construction industry has ever seen.  Things are looking up for our industry, and we are excited to see what happens in future years."

Branco Enterprises is a General Contractor and Design Builder that has completed projects all over the Midwest region. With offices in Neosho, MO and Springfield, MO, Branco has many ongoing projects in the region. The company's project portfolio includes community, manufacturing, retail, institutional and educational facilities, as well as water and wastewater plants and highway work.

Excerpt from ENR about the ranking:

“Big contractors saw big gains in the region last year, though results among mid- and small-size firms proved more hit or miss. In all, about half of the Midwest’s Top 50 Contractors increased revenues in 2014, with the remainder logging decreases or little change at all.

However, 2015 looks to be the year the Midwest – long the laggard in the nation’s economic recovery – will see more marked improvement, with indicators ranging from construction employment to construction backlogs portending favorable conditions for the foreseeable future. Leading economists, including Ken Simonson, chief economist with Arlington, Va.-based Associated General Contractors of America, and Anirban Basu, chief economist with Washington, D.C.-based Associated Builders and Contractors, predict regional construction activity will accelerate by 6% to 10% this year, on par with projections for the nation as a whole.”
