NEO offers night class to accommodate working adults

Updated:
MIAMI, OKLAHOMA -

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) has added a series of hybrid night courses, including both face-to-face and online instruction, for students interested in earning an associate’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management/Marketing. The new program aims to increase the availability of a collegiate education and widen options for degree completion. The courses will take place every Tuesday evening, beginning August 18.

Additionally, these night courses offer the same classroom experience as a traditional day course. Face-to-face instruction will take precedence over online instruction, as students will primarily be taught by a full time NEO instructor. Financial aid is also available for those students who qualify. Available courses include: Accounting, Business Ethics, Human Resources Management, Principle Styled Leadership, Salesmanship, Principles of Management, Marketing, and many others. A degree can be completed in four years by attending one night class per week.

NEO’s new night courses offer students additional opportunities to achieve their career goals by eliminating the obstacles and conflicts of day-to-day life. Students unable to attend traditional courses due to work conflicts or extraneous circumstances, or those who are interested in a flexible program designed to increase opportunities in the working world, are perfect candidates for these courses. Also, traditional students who wish to enroll in the courses are welcome. The program is open to students of all types and backgrounds.

The new addition to NEO’s available courses will assist all students in earning a degree, no matter the circumstance.

“We really feel like this gives the student the best of both worlds,” said Pat Creech, department chair of business and technology. “They have the interaction with the instructor and fellow students that comes from a traditional classroom setting along with the flexibility that comes with taking a class in an on-line environment.” For more information please contact Pat Creech by email at pcreech@neo.edu or call 918-540-6294.
