Two suspects arrested for drug related crime

CARTHAGE, MISSOURI -

The Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team and Carthage Police Officers arrested Michael Lawrence and Russell Sneddon on 08/13/2015 for the Distribution of a Controlled Substance. Sneddon is 39 years of age and Lawrence 55 years of age both men reside in Carthage. Lawrence led Carthage Officers and Jasper County Deputies on a pursuit that ended out in the County Just East of Carthage City Limits. Lawrence was throwing packages of suspected meth and paraphernalia out the driver’s window during the pursuit. Sneddon was arrested at his residence located at 516 East 3rd in Carthage which is where Lawrence had just left prior to the pursuit.
The Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office has filed charges. The bond is set at $7,500 for Sneddon and $10,000 for Lawrence. Lawrence is also being held on a no bond parole violation.
