Freeman Health System Welcomes Dr. Bei Zheng

JOPLIN, MISSOURI -

Freeman Health System welcomes Dr. Bei Zheng, a family medicine specialist, to Freeman Neosho Hospital Clinic of Anderson. A graduate of Shanxi Medical University, Taiyuan, Shanxi, China, Dr. Zheng completed her surgery residency at Staten Island University Hospital, Staten Island, N.Y., and her family medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center, Syracuse, N.Y., She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

“Dr. Zheng and her husband came here after the Joplin tornado simply because they wanted to serve the people of this area. She is a very friendly and caring person, and we are very fortunate to have her here,” said Renee Denton, Freeman Neosho Hospital Chief Operating Officer. “I know she will be a great asset to our Anderson clinic and the people of McDonald County.”

“I like living in a rural area, and the people here need and deserve a good doctor,” Dr. Zheng said. “I want to help them with prevention and management of chronic illnesses. I can perform almost any type of outpatient procedure needed in an office setting.”

Dr. Zheng is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and has an interest in women’s health, preventive medicine and skin disorders. Appointments can be made by calling 417.845.0545.
