Drugs Seized from Riverton Home

CHEROKEE COUNTY, KANSAS -

Just before 8:00 on Friday morning, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics related search warrant on the residence located at 5711 Southeast Quaker Road, north of Riverton. 

During the course of the search, investigators discovered suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Male Suspect, 21, and 35 year-old female suspect, both of the home, were arrested and transported to the Cherokee County Jail on allegations of Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony and Misdemeanor Possession of Controlled Substances, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

Bond for both suspects has been set at $15,000.00 cash / surety.  Formal charges are expected to be filed later today.
