Pitt native claims $250K prize

            The name of the game is “Garland Riches,” and Christopher Curtis is $250,000 richer after uncovering the top prize on the Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket. Curtis, 48, purchased his winning ticket at Fast Stop, 131 E. 39th Street, in Kansas City. The Pittsburg, Kan., resident claimed his quarter-million-dollar prize on Jan. 13 at the Lottery’s Kansas City regional office.

            “Garland Riches” is a $10 holiday-themed Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket that was officially introduced on Oct. 19, 2015. Additional Scratchers information can be found at MOLottery.com.
