Ice House Entrepreneurship Program Offered in Cherokee County

Limited time remains to register for the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program which will be offered for the first time in Cherokee County starting in March. The Ice House Program is an 8-week course designed to help participants think like entrepreneurs and open themselves up to the unlimited opportunities doing so can provide.

The class is ideal for those considering launching their own business but will also benefit those wishing to try something new in their existing venture, accomplish more as an employee/ volunteer, or approach life with a new perspective. Those interested should register by February 15th to ensure their place in the class.

Classes are scheduled Tuesday evenings from 5:45 to 8:15 pm starting March 1st and continuing through April 26th.  Class sessions will be held at the Coffeyville Community College - Columbus Technical Campus, 509 W. Elm, Columbus, KS.

Program cost is $100 for adult participants and $50 for high school and college students. Generous support from Crossland Construction and Walmart will provide a refund of 50% of the respective program cost to participants if they complete at least 7 of the 8 course sessions. The cost includes all course materials as well as refreshments at each session.
