Local Band Releases First EP Record

Updated:

A local band drops its first EP record holding a launch party at a downtown Joplin club.

"Tundraland", is a new single from the EP record "There will be time" by local act, "Me Like Bees".

The band premiered it's latest four-track record Friday night (4/8).. In true launch party style, complete with balloons.
The band recorded one track solo, and were able to join up with a producer to churn out the other three in just three days of recording.
The lead singer, Luke Sheafer, says this latest batch of songs could feature some of their first work to get air time on the radio,

"Its because its more pop its accessible kind of dancy so know when you hear it (your) hips kind of move I guess .. We recorded it with a producer  that makes radio hits so.. You know we tried to crank out two radio jams and those are those two songs."
The new EP is available now on CD and online -- and is due for a vinyl release in about a month.
