Armed Robbery at Galena Pizza Hut

GALENA, KANSAS -

On today's date at approximately 5:35 PM a male subject walked into the Pizza Hut on East 7th in Galena, KS. He pointed a hand gun at employees and demanded all money from the Cash Registers. The suspect was wearing a gray hoodie w/ a white superman emblem on the front, a pair of jeans and a full face black motorcycle helmet. (An) employee complied with his demands. The subject exited the store with an undisclosed amount of money and headed East on 7th Street on a motorcycle. If anyone has information or can identify the subject or motorcycle in the attached photos, contact the Galena Police Department or your local law enforcement agency.

    The City of Pittsburg announces that Major Brent Narges has been appointed the interim police chief.  He'll take over for Mendy Hulvey who announced her retirement last month.     According to the Jasper County Sheriff's Office, on Wednesday (April 18), deputies were called to 10125 County Lane 273 in Carl Junction. Deputies spoke with two women who were trying to get their dog from their neighbors yard. The women were in the 71-year-old's driveway when the man came out with a pistol threatening to shoot them for trespassing.
