SEK Art Fest Reveal this Saturday June 4th

Updated:
PITTSBURG, KANSAS -

This Saturday, June 4th at the Pittsburg Farmers Market, 30 life sized concrete animals (10 cows, 10 pigs, 10 ponies) will be revealed for the first time since they have been transformed by local artists. After the reveal the animals will go to their “homes” around town for the summer. They will then be auctioned off Saturday, August 6th at the Crawford County Fair. The money raised from the auction will help SEK Art Fest continue offering grant funding for area projects.

Event details:

  • Artists will be returning their animals for the Saturday morning event
  • This drop-off will not be open to the public – but media is welcome to come

  • Starts at 7am with the Pittsburg Farmers Market and will run until the end of the Farmers Market
  • This is your one opportunity to see all 30 objects together in one place until the Crawford County Fair in August
