ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Police in Albuquerque say a "person of interest" in a double homicide investigation has been arrested in Oklahoma. They say 39-year-old Richard Alan Ross was found with the victims' vehicle and other pieces of evidence. Albuquerque homicide detectives are traveling to Oklahoma on Sunday to interview Ross, who police say was one of the last persons the victims were seen with. Police didn't immediately disclose the Oklahoma location where Ross was found.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality is investigating how more than a dozen barrels were illegally dumped in Oklahoma City. The agency says that 16 55-gallon drums containing unidentified liquids were dropped off in a field near an industrial area last month. Investigators are trying to determine what's inside the barrels and samples have been sent to the state environmental laboratory for analysis.

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (AP) - Police say an 18-year-old man has been arrested on a first-degree murder warrant in death of his father in Broken Arrow. Officer James Koch said in a news release Saturday that police were called to a home Friday afternoon for a welfare check, but were not initially allowed into the home by the son. Koch says after the son relented and allowed officers inside, 42-year-old Zachary Umdenstock was found dead.

PONCA CITY, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Department of Corrections says in inmate who walked away from a halfway house in Ponca City remains at large. The department said in a news release Friday that 45-year-old Paul Hartsell Jr. walked away from Bridgeway Inc. on Sunday and stole a van owned by the halfway house. Hartsell was convicted in Oklahoma County of domestic assault and battery and second-degree burglary.
