Teen Drowns in Grand Lake

A 17-year-old from Kansas  drowned in Grand Lake Saturday evening.
 The Grand River Dam Authority Police Department reported that  the male teen was swimming with friends in the Woodland Shores area of the lake when he began to struggle in the water. He called for help and his friends tried to assist him before he did go under for a third time. With the help of other witnesses, they were able to eventually able to  get him to shore where a nurse in the area started CPR until emergency responders could arrive .But he could not be revived.
