Carthage Residents Frustrated With River Street Construction Progress
CARTHAGE, MISSOURI -
Carthage residents are frustrated over what they see as a "lack of progress" on River Street. The $300,000 project to widen the street to three lanes began in February. City officials say work has been delayed because of the need to move utility lines. Construction has picked back up again on River Street between Airport Drive and Fairview Avenue. However, some residents believe the project should be finished already.
