Joplin Police Offer Chaplain Program to Those Involved in Traumatic Experiences

It's been a day since the sniper attack on Dallas policeman and many people are still shooken up, perhaps none more so than that of the loved ones they left behind. Most police departments offer chaplains to provide comfort including spiritual and physical assistance to those involved in or have had loved ones involved in traumatic experiences. The Joplin Police Chaplain Program has been around for more than 25 years. Currently they have 5 volunteer chaplains.
