Pittsburg Hosts First Weekday Football Home Opener Since August 26, 2004

Updated:
PITTSBURG, KANSAS -

The Pitt State football home opener kicks off tomorrow. The last time Pitt State hosted a game on a weekday was August 26th  2004. The change in game day means a change in set-up. Specifically the Brown parking lot, a main parking lot for students during the weekday, which will be closed the entire school day leading up to the game. Students may be looking forward to the game, but it could be under better circumstances.

PSU student Kel Ebert says, "It can be an inconvenience. Ya know that's athletics taking control over academics in a way."
