Ace Hardware To Open Store Within Ramey Supermarket

Scheduled to open its doors early November inside Ramey Supermarket, located at 2150 E. Cleveland, in Monett, Missouri, will bring its “more personal kind of helpful” and quality products to local homeowners and DIYers. Ace Hardware will provide solutions to everyday home maintenance needs through an extensive selection of products in categories such as paint, lawn and garden, electrical tools and outdoor living. In addition, customers can expect the personal, knowledgeable and helpful service that makes them feel like a neighbor, not a number, every time they step into their new neighborhood Ace Hardware.

This is the first Ace store opened by Employee-owned R.P.C.S. Inc. The store will span 5,000 square feet and stock thousands of products.

    Newly elected Joplin City Council member Joshua Bard has resigned from council. Bard confirmed to KOAM that his resignation is connected to a drug conviction from 2005.  Mayor Gary Shaw tells us the council will begin accepting applications for a new council member, and that member will be selected by the council. He hopes to address the now vacant seat as early as the next meeting.
