Single Vehicle Accident Injures Three Females

MIAMI, OKLAHOMA -

On 9-17-2016 at approximately 1314 hours, Miami Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on the South Main St bridge. Upon arrival of officers it was learned that a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero drive by 29-year-old Ashley Helms had struck the bridge. The vehicle was headed southwest and struck the north wall of the bridge. There were 2 other passengers in the vehicle. Sasha Euran, 29, and Amanda Euran, 30 all of Miami. All three girls were transported to the hospital with injuries. Two helicopters were called to the scene to assist in transport. The extent of injuries are unknown and the cause of the accident is under investigation.

    Joplin Police received a call about an armed robbery on Sunday just before 10:00 p.m. (April 22, 2018). An employee at Charlie's Chicken (2020E. 32nd Street) says she locked the business up and was walking to her vehicle when a male walked up to her in the parking lot. She said he pointed a handgun at her and demanded the night deposit bag. She gave the suspect the bag and says he ran to the southwest. Police officers could not find him.
