Labette Bank will celebrate the opening of their second branch in Pittsburg, Kansas

Updated:
PITTSBURG, KANSAS -

“Our new location is a full service branch designed to meet the needs of the community,” said David Moore, Pittsburg Community Bank President. “By renovating an existing building, we were able to utilize a piece of Pittsburg’s history to create a modern banking facility.”

Labette Bank was founded over 100 years ago with a vision of starting a bank to serve a small farm community. Since then, Labette Bank has grown from a single rural bank into an institution with over $360,000,000 in assets and 12 locations. The 801 S Broadway location will join the North Pittsburg branch, 2805 N Broadway, in serving the Pittsburg community and surrounding areas.

“We would like to acknowledge Tri-State Building, sub contractors, Sign Designs, and the City of Pittsburg for all of their hard work and oversight during the entire renovation.” Moore continued. “We look forward to sharing their work with the community and are excited to be opening a second location in Pittsburg.”

In celebration of this grand opening, local communities are invited to join us for our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, December 5th, 8 AM, at our new location 801 S Broadway, Pittsburg, Kansas. Coffee & Pastry reception will follow the ceremony.
