Updated:
CARTHAGE, MISSOURI -

Carthage, Missouri – The Carthage Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that the winner of the inaugural Holiday Window Contest is the Carthage Technical Center North for their adorable Lights, Camera, Action, Christmas themed window. The window depicts a winter scene including a gingerbread house, lots of fun characters, and a movie camera capturing all of the action. When advised of the win, Lorie Teegarden of the Tech Center said “I saw Mark [Elliff, President of the Carthage Chamber of Commerce] getting out of the car and thought, I wonder if this means good news. Yay and thank you so much!” In addition to the honor of being the inaugural winner, the Tech Center won a $100 Visa gift card. If you are looking for some family fun this week, the Tech Center will host a gingerbread house making class on Thursday the 8th from 4-5:30. Call 359-7095 to register and learn how to make your very own awesome display.

Businesses all over Carthage have used their creativity to create magical windows to brighten our town for the Christmas season. Other contest entrants Abbey Title, Front Page, Jasper County Farm Bureau, The Palms Massage and Day Spa, and Repurpose Boutique had beautiful displays as well and you will want to check them out.
