Take a look at the picture of a man in this story. If you've ever come across him, chances are he had you call him Dave.
"He was so nice to me," says Margaret Beeching, neighbor to Dave. "I liked him, a lot."
Beeching says Dave had been living next to her for the last six months, and would mow her yard.
"He just said, I'm bored. He said, I need something to do," says Beeching.
Dave's real name is Davon Granger. Police in Columbus, Ohio says the 22-year-old was part of a murder, and has been on the run from police since June of last year.
"A lot of murder suspects, surprisingly, don't go far from where they live or people they know," says Denise Alex-Bouzounis with the Columbus Police Department.
The U.S. Marshal's office says intensive investigation led them to the home of Granger's girlfriend, 433 North Wall Avenue in Joplin. Law enforcement say after a five hour standoff, Granger was found under the home, with help from a K9. He was arrested without incident, and will soon be extradited back to Ohio for trial.
"He wasn't in Columbus, he was in Joplin. He was with someone he trusted and loved. But we're lucky to now have him behind bars," says Alex-Bouzounis
Beeching is still working through how one picture of Granger can have two faces.
"All I can say is, I just liked the kid. He was nice. He really did me good. Just seeing him here and there, in and out," says Beeching.
Granger will be transported from the Joplin city jail to the Jasper County jail. The U.S. Marshal's office says Granger will remain in custody until his extradition to Ohio.
