Shelter & Rescue Dog Training

PITTSBURG, KANSAS -

Two national animal welfare organizations joined forces to bring training and awareness to the Four States. The Humane Society and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals partnered to provide training on behavior and handling, for shelter and rescue dogs.

Pittsburg Memorial Auditorium represented the final stop of the statewide initiative. The training was free, and participants were eligible for continuing education credit. They also received training tools and other resources.
