Bourbon County Authorities Offer $10,000 Reward in Fire Case

The Bourbon County Sheriff's Office is offering a $10,000 reward in connection to a fire at Pearson's Towing in Fort Scott, KS.

The fire happened on March 21st, 2018 at Pearson's Tire (1269 Highway 54). Authorities say the Bourbon County Sheriff's Office had 13 seized vehicles there at the time of the fire.

Following court proceedings, vehicles seized by the Sheriff's Office during a drug related crime are awarded to the Sheriff's Office by the Court. The Sheriff's Office will auction off those vehicles and use the proceeds to fund the Office's K9 unit.

The Bourbon County Sheriff's Office is offering a $10,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for the fire.
