NEOSHO COUNTY VANDALISM

  • A string of vandalism hits Neosho County, Kansas on Saturday night.  A 16-year-old allegedly broke into Mac's Git-N-Split convenience store, where he ransacked the store and stole a truck.  He then went to Erie where he drove the stolen vehicle through the front door of building.  The school district spent all Sunday cleaning up the school.  They will hold classes today.

CROWDER PRESIDENT LEAVING

  • Crowder College's president will leave for a job as Chancellor at Arkansas State University-Beebe.  Jennifer Methvin is returning home to Arkansas having served 23 years there previously in education.  Methvin came to Crowder College four years ago.  She will begin her duties at Arkansas State University-Beebe July 1st. 

KABUL BOMBING

  • The Islamic State is claiming responsibility for a suicide bombing in Kabul that killed more than 50 people.  The attack happened outside a voter registration center as Afghanistan prepares for elections in October.

WAFFLE HOUSE SHOOTING

  • A manhunt is underway in Tennessee for 29-year old Travis Reinking.  He's wanted for fatally shooting four people at a Waffle House near Nashville early Sunday morning.  Four others were hurt.  Witnesses say the gunman was half naked and armed with an assault style rifle.
