Police Investigate Stabbing and Arrest The Victim for Warrants

A stabbing investigation leads to the arrest of the stabbing victim.

On Wednesday morning around 6:30 a.m. (April 25, 2018), Pittsburg police officers were called to Via Christi Hospital for a male that had been stabbed. Police spoke to the victim, 35-year-old Daniel Leroy Hall. Hall told the officers that he was in an altercation with another male and was stabbed in the hand. Police say the alleged incident took place at Sycamore Village Apartment Complex (2601 N. Joplin Street).

During the investigation, police saw that Hall had multiple warrants including probation violations. Hall was treated for his injuries, released from the hospital and taken to the Crawford County Jail.

Police ask that anyone with information about this incident, or any other crime, call the Pittsburg Police Department at 620-231-1700 or at their tip line 620-231-8477. Callers can remain anonymous.
