The Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce held its 101st Annual Banquet Thursday evening (April 26th, 2018) at the MSSU Leggett & Platt Athletic Center.

Here are the awards that were given out.

    The Wyandotte Nation is searching for the next Chief of Police, according to the Wyandotte Tribe of Oklahoma. Ken Murphy has resigned his position as Chief of Police of the Wyandotte Nation Tribal Police Department (WNTPD) after serving in the position for nine years. Officer Faron Lee, who has served with the department for eleven years, will serve as Interim Police Chief.
