GUN RANGE REOPENS

  • Owners of a gun range near Oronogo, Missouri reopen their range.  This comes after nearby residents claimed eight bullets from Outdoor Addicts' gun range have struck six homes.  Gun range owners posted on Facebook that the range has undergone changes, and that the ATF has looked at all the safety measures in place.  Owners and workers at Outdoor Addicts declined to be interviewed for this story.

MSSU MASS CASUALTY SIMULATION

  • Missouri Southern students on Friday learned how best to handle a mass casualty situation, through a simulation.  The simulation centered around a mock industrial plant explosion.  Students from five departments of the health care program worked with staff from local emergency rooms throughout the entire simulation.

MIKE POMPEO’S TRIP ABOARD

  • Mike Pompeo is wrapping up his first trip abroad as Secretary of State.  During a weekend spent in Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Israel he repeatedly took aim at Iran.  Pompeo said President Trump is likely to withdraw from the Iranian nuclear deal unless its terms are improved. 

NRA CONVENTION

  • President Trump will give a speech at the National Rifle Association's convention in Dallas this week.  Vice President Mike Pence is also going to address the group.  For both events firearms or weapons of any kind will be prohibited.
