Southwest Missouri Residents Arrested For Illegal Drug Activity

Updated:

A search warrants leads to charges against three Southwest Missouri residents.

On Tuesday morning (May 1st, 2018), Nevada Police executed a search warrant in the 400 block of N. Ash Street. Authorities say they had received reports and gathered information that a man at that location was involved in illegal drug activity.

When officers arrived at the home, there were nine people on the property. Police found and seized suspected illegal drugs, including methamphetamine and marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. The drug evidence will be sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab for further analysis.

Three people were arrested and taken to the Vernon County jail.

The County Attorney has filed charges against 53-year-old Otis McCullick of Nevada for possession of a controlled substance (Class D Felony). He's being held in lieu of a $10,000 cash only bond.

38-year-old Clint Carney of Nevada is charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, prior offender (Class A Misdemeanor). He's being held in the Vernon County jail in lieu of a $2,500 cash only bond in addition to outstanding arrest warrants from Webb City, MO.

Charges have also been filed against 27-year-old Autumn Fry of Joplin for possession of a controlled substance (Class D Felony). She's being held on a $10,000 cash only bond.
