JOPLIN, MISSOURI -

Three graduating graphic design students at Missouri Southern State University are holding an end of the year art exhibit. Sandy Showen took on the task of taking boring, one-color cars and breathing personality into them. Austin White also had an exhibit. He represented the powers we have as a society on a painted canvas. Brett Dorrance's display showed his take on the word grind which he says has played a significant roll in his life. The exhibit gives the students the chance to show-off the big projects they've been working on this year. The show runs through this Friday. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
